SMX Social Media April 2009

Is anyone attending SMX Social Media? It's in NYC this year and is on April 29-30.

I can't believe this is the third edition of the conference already. Has anyone attended this one before? I know there are a few other SMX conferences coming up soon, but i was just curious about how 'good' this particular one would be.

I went to SMX Social Media In Long Beach

It was like a lot of the SMX events (which are like a lot of the SES events without the box lunches - go figure)- pretty much the same speaker panel, a somewhat similar line up from the past, etc. etc.

That said, it was more social media focused, I did learn a few things and I met some interesting people. Next week I'm headed out to SMX West, mainly because I want to corner someone to talk about personalized/customized search.
